The traditional IDEX trade fair, one of the world's largest exhibitions of defense technologies and equipment, will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from February 17 to 21. The companies of the CSG Defence division will present their products and services to experts and the public, together with the local partner, Resource Industries. With an area of 1,500 m2, CSG Defence will have the largest exhibition in the history of CSG group companies' participation in the IDEX trade fair and also the largest Czech exhibition area ever.

The IDEX 2025 trade fair is already the 31st edition of this globally one of the most important events in the defense and security industry. The importance of the IDEX fair is evidenced by the number of exhibitors and visitors - for example, in 2023, over 1,350 exhibitors from 65 countries had their stands at the fair in 41 pavilions and on exhibition areas covering an area of 165,000 m2, with the number of visitors exceeding 130,000.

The fair will be hosted, as in previous years, by Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. Hundreds of companies from dozens of countries around the world regularly exhibit at the fair, and companies from the CSG Defence division are also among the stable participants. This year, these will be Excalibur Army, Tatra Export, MSM Group, as well as Eldis, Retia and Excalibur International, which will be presented at a joint stand with the partner company Resource Industries, with which they cooperate on several projects.

The Tatra Export company will present the production lines of the Tatra automobile manufacturer intended for military purposes. Visitors will be able to learn about the features and performance of the Tatra Force, Tatra Tactic and Tatra Phoenix model lines through special exhibits and electronic presentations. All three are already in service with a number of armed forces around the world, including the Middle East, and the partner company Resource Industries even assembles them directly in the UAE for local customers.

Excalibur Army (EA) will showcase the latest version of the MORANA 155 mm self-propelled wheeled howitzer at the exhibition. It is a top-of-the-line NATO-standard artillery system that is currently undergoing a series of demanding tests. From the EA portfolio, the TREVA-30 recovery and evacuation vehicle on the Tatra Force 8x8 chassis will also be on display in Abu Dhabi, and its deliveries to customers in the UAE are provided by Resource Industries. Through presentations, visitors will also be able to learn about other EA products, such as the Patriot 4x4 armoured vehicle, which Resource Industries is also responsible for selling on the local market, the DITA 155 mm howitzer and the RM-70 Vampire rocket launcher system, as well as the AM-70 EX and AM-50 EX bridge vehicles.
